Fed could delay rate hikes in case global turmoil hurts US – WSJ’s Hilsenrath
FXStreet (Mumbai) - Wall street Journal’s (WSJ) Fed watcher Jon Hilsenrath is of the view that Fed may delay the rate hikes in case the global turmoil infects the US economy.
Hilsenrath added that Fed officials are watching overseas crisis with a wary eye, but so far seem set on moving sometime this year.
At the moment, the markets are betting on a first interest rate hike in September.
