Mr. Yen says USDJPY at 100 is no problem for Japan

Eisuke Sakakibara, a former top currency official at Japan’s Finance Ministry, also known as Mr. Yen for his ability to influence the exchange rate in 1990s, noted that USDJPY at 100 poses no problem for Japan.

Sakakibara said that the BOJ Governor Kuroda will be aware that JPY will gradually rise.
