"The Fed Reserve blackout period has begun on Saturday (10 March) ahead of the 20/21 March FOMC and the blackout period will end on 22 March. During this period, there will not be any senior Fed officials speaking in public forums.
This week, there will be two monetary policy decisions from Europe, the Swiss National Bank (SNB) and Norges Bank (Norway central bank) both on Friday, and are widely expected to keep policy rate unchanged at -0.75% (SNB) and +0.5% (Norges).
Market attention will also be on the European Central Bank (ECB) as various senior ECB officials (including ECB President Mario Draghi) will be speaking at the “ECB & Its Watcher XIX conference” in Frankfurt, Germany on Thursday. Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA)’s Christopher Kent will deliver a speech on Wednesday, followed by Guy Debelle on Friday, both in Sydney.
Meanwhile, Bank of Canada (BoC) Governor Stephen Poloz will be speaking in Kingston (Wednesday)."
