Turkish energy giant fixes USD exchange rate at 6.5

BOTAŞ Petroleum Pipeline Corporation, a state-owned crude oil and natural gas pipeline and trading company, announced that it decided to fix the USD exchange rate for at 6.5 for the natural gas prices that used for electricity production, as reported by the Turkish news outlet, Cumhuriyet.

As of writing, the USD/TRY pair was down 4.5% on the day at 6.5800.
