WH Press Sec. Sanders: President stayed at WH to make calls on trade and other international issues
In an email to news outlets, the White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced that US President Trump cancelled his Labor Day Holiday plans.
“The president stayed at the White House to make calls specifically on trade and other international issues,” the email read, according to Bloomberg.
Earlier in the day, "Happy Labor Day! Our country is doing better than ever before with unemployment setting record lows. The U.S. has tremendous upside potential as we go about fixing some of the worst Trade Deals ever made by any country in the world. Big progress being made!" Trump tweeted out.
