US: Nonfarm payrolls up 288K in June

FXStreet (Łódź) - US NFP grew by 288K in June, following the May increase revised up to 224K, according to data released today by the US Department of Labor. This result is above market consensus of 212K.

The Unemployment Rate dropped to 6.1% from 6.3%, against forecasts of remaining unchanged.
