EMU: Annual CPI rises 0.4% in July, as expected

According to data released today by Eurostat, Eurozone annual inflation rose 0.4% in July, following 0.5% growth registered the previous month. This result is in line with analysts' forecasts. On a monthly basis CPI fell 0.7%, after growing 0.1%, below expectations of -0.6%.

EMU: GDP expands 0.7% in Q2

On an annual basis Eurozone GDP increased 0.7% in Q2, down from +0.9% registered the previous quarter, according to preliminary data released today by Eurostat. This result is in line with market consensus.
